Fixing Chrubuntu C7 touchpad

The C7 Chromebook is awesome! Except for the fact that it’s touchpad isn’t that responsive.

That’s because of it’s low sensitivity set on Synaptics.

To solve that a few actions must be taken:

# vim /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-synaptics.conf

Look for the line MatchDevicePath “/dev/input/event*”

And add this after

Option   “FingerHigh”    “10”
Option   “FingerLow”     “5”
Option   “HorizHysteresis” “12”
Option   “VertHysteresis” “12”

Then reboot!
